E.C.E.S. is a state-approved private school accredited by the Minnesota Nonpublic School Accrediting Association and a member school in Christian Schools International since 1923. It is a non-profit, parent controlled corporation, including all parents of enrolled children, which meets at least annually to elect from its membership a board of directors and to adopt a budget. E.C.E.S. not only has high academic standards, but it has high Christian standards. The Bible is the authority for instruction and Jesus Christ is the ultimate source of all truth and wisdom. The teachers work with the students in grades K-8 using a demanding academic program that includes required study in math, science, social studies, English, music, Bible and physical education. There are special programs available for those who need extra help in speech, reading or math.
