Skipper Dee Doc Ivory is classified as a
Creme Plus Champagne stallion according to the Champagne Registry, and
as a Buckskin with Champagne Dilution in the AQHA registry. (Whatever.)
He consistently throws
champagne foals. Depending on who is telling it, he is either the
first or second AQHA registered Champagne
Stallion. His bloodline is Skipper W line, and he is muscling out
nicely as he matures. He is well balanced and has no light side.
This horse is very easy to work with, and all of his foals share that
trait.
I weaned and halter broke all four of
his 2003 foals this year, and they were mellow enough to let us imprint
them from birth without ropes or halters in a 23 acre pasture.
